The Gloss Bar - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Gloss Bar. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Appointments and Cancellations
  • Booking: Appointments can be made online, over the phone, or in person. Please ensure you arrive on time to receive the full duration of your service. 

  • Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in losing the 40% booking fee. If you cancel your appointment within 6 hours, you will be charge the full service cost. No shows will be charged 100% and will not be able to rebook with The Gloss Bar

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your service to accommodate other clients.

2. Payment and Pricing
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. All payments must be made at the time of service.

  • Pricing: Prices for services are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. Special offers or promotions cannot be combined with other discounts unless specified.

  • A booking fee of 40% is required upon booking with The Gloss Bar and will be taken off the final amount at the time of your appointment.

  • Refunds: Refunds are not offered for services rendered. If you are dissatisfied, please notify us within 48 hours, and we will do our best to address your concerns with a correction appointment.

3. Gift Cards and Vouchers
  • Usage: Gift cards and vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase and can be used for any service. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Lost or Stolen: The Gloss Bar is not responsible for lost, stolen, or expired gift cards.

4. Health and Safety
  • Client Health: Please inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or medical conditions that may affect your service. We reserve the right to refuse service if a health concern arises.

  • Sanitation: The Gloss Bar adheres to strict hygiene standards. All tools and equipment are sanitised and sterilised between clients and all disposable tools are used once and then safely discarded to ensure your safety. Nail stations are wiped and cleaned with disinfection between clients.

5. Personal Belongings
  • The Gloss Bar is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the salon. Please keep your valuables secure.

6. Children and Pets
  • Children: For their safety and the comfort of all clients, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the salon unless they have a scheduled appointment.

  • Pets: Except for service animals, pets are not allowed in the salon.

7. Behavior and Conduct
  • We strive to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment. Any inappropriate behavior or language will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to refuse service and ask clients to leave.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
  • The Gloss Bar reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
